The International Collaboration for Community Health Nursing Research (ICCHNR), in partnership with the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) and City, University of London, successfully hosted an international conference titled “The Race to Address Health Inequalities by 2030: Community Nursing in the Lead” from April 15–17, 2025. This event brought together community health nurses, researchers, educators, and policymakers from around the world to share evidence and strategies aimed at achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The conference emphasised the pivotal role of community nursing in advancing global health equity. Discussions centred on how community nurses contribute to the five key pillars of the SDGs: People, Planet, Peace, Prosperity, and Partnership. Through research presentations, keynote speeches, and collaborative sessions, attendees explored innovative approaches to address health disparities and promote universal health coverage.

ICCHNR extends its heartfelt appreciation to all participants, speakers, and partners who contributed to the success of this conference. The organisation remains committed to fostering international collaboration and research in community health nursing. Stay connected with ICCHNR for updates on future events and initiatives aimed at strengthening the global community of community health nursing professionals.
